Treatment programmes

We follow the basis treatment programmes which patients could easily follow at center as well as at home. That helps patients to come out of addiction and make us among best rehabilitation center in Delhi-NCR.

1) Admission or treatment on outpatient basis depending on patient condition:
Patient who needs in patient facility would be admitted in rehabilitation center for further management. In case, patient is not feeling for admission, he/she would be first assessed on the OPD basis and in case, no result has been detected, then patient could be admitted in the rehabilitation center for further management.

2) Detoxification:
Initially patient would be detoxified in the rehab to control withdrawal. Detoxification would be done under by team of psychiatrist and physician. During detoxification, patient would be examined by nursing staff to maintain vital. Proper diet and fluid intake would be maintained during the withdrawal period.

3) Motivational interviewing:
Includes the detailed motivational assessment by expert psychologist. During the assessment, detailed psychological assessment which includes personality assessment, mood assessment, cue assessment would be done to find the prognosis.

4) Stoppage of drug/alcohol by psychological interventions:
: After controlling withdrawal and motivational interview, patient would be taken for motivational enhancement therapy. Motivational enhancement therapy is one of the most important parts of treatment and it takes longer period. During the therapy, expert would work on patient’s motivation and help to improve motivation.

5) Relapse prevention sessions:
Relapse prevention helps to control relapse in case of alcohol/ drug addiction. Method of relapse prevention would be decided by psychiatrist after detailed assessment of patient. In opioid dependence, patient would be either put on partial agonist (buprenorphine) or antagonist naltrexone. In case, alcohol dependence, patient would be put on disulfiram after consent. Accordingly, relapse prevention method would be used to prevent relapse in different addiction.

6) Maintenance treatment:
After motivation enhancement and relapse prevention technique, expert would help patient to maintain abstinence. In that case, psychiatrist and psychologist would stay in touch with patient and his/her family member via phone or skype to discuss each issue in detail. That would help to avoid relapse and would help to maintain patient dignity in his/her family.

7) Rehabilitation:
During rehabilitation, patient daily activity schedule would be prepared that would become part of patient life. Daily activity schedule would help to maintain good health and to prevent relapse. Daily schedule in centre includes:
